Christmas, just the way you want it (I took some extra days off work to enjoy the laziness)

My brother Beggó and Mom & Palli came over for dinner on the 24th. Beggó, the artist, made ptarmigan hors-d’oeuvre and mom brought a delicious Waldorf salad but me and Eydis smoked lamb and rice pudding. Baldur played the piano and Tinna darling, moms dog left hair all over the apartment. I still find hair even if I’ve cleaned three times :] but she is lovely. She is getting old and arthritic poor wretched thing. Even so she did a good job finding her own gifts of kickshaws. On Christmas day we all gathered at my mothers place for a delicious dinner and company (and a little nap over a book).
I’ve been sooo extremely lazy at work. Only show up for a half day at a time and skipped karate on Tuesday. Still haven’t captured that life hasn’t come to a halt in bed with Eydís a book and a bowl of candy
